Before you send your wedding enquiry, it may be useful to read the information below about what happens next...

 

Lead times

I recommend a minimum of 3 months' notice for all wedding cakes. Please allow plenty of time to avoid disappointment. For other large bespoke celebration cakes, I require 1 months' notice. I may be able to accommodate shorter notice, depending on my schedule.

 

Consultations and cake tasting

For bespoke designs, I offer to meet with you to discuss your cake. At this session, you will receive three samples and have an opportunity to share ideas and inspiration for your cake. A consultation costs £35. 

 

Payment terms

All wedding cake orders require a non transferable and non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total cost. Deposits are due when the order has been placed and details have been checked and confirmed by you. 

 

The full and final payment for all orders must be made 30 days prior to delivery/collection/set up.

 

Hire service

I provide cake stands for hire for weddings. Stands must be be returned within 7 days of the wedding to Butter Beautiful in Bow. 

 

Delivery & Collection

Deliveries in zone 1 are £65. Please ask for a quote for deliveries further afield. 

If you choose to collect your cake, I will provide assembly instructions for you/your venue. You will be required to sign to confirm the cake was in good condition upon collection.

 

Cancellation policy 

As your wedding cake order is reserved solely for you and certain components for your cake may need to be ordered months in advance, the following cancellation charges will apply:

0-1 month from delivery date - 100% of the total cost will be payable
